Fall 2015 MYODC Costume Contest
Let's take a look back at all of our wonderful sewing creations that shined on stage during the 2015 dance competition season. Share one or more of your favorite dance costumes you made this year, and you just might win a $100.00 gift card to purchase supplies for the sewing season to come!

2. Repost
Repost this contest flyer on Facebook:
Click the “like,” and “share” buttons, (Privacy setting must be set to public; look for the drop down menu to the left of the share button and make sure it is set to “Public”).
3. Hashtag
Use the hashtag, “#MYODC” when reposting the flyer. Type a short description with the hashtag in the section that says, “Say something about this link.” Maybe tell your friends to wish ‘ya good luck in the contest you are bout to enter in? Write what ever you like, but make sure you include our hashtag.
4. Upload
Pick 1 or more of your favorite dance costumes that you made this year, then upload pictures of them to our Facebook page (5 is the maximum number of entries).
Visit our Facebook page and upload a photo of your costume to the section titled, “Visitor Posts” (located in the lower left section). Everyone's submission will need to be approved before it is visible on our Facebook page. Once it has been approved, you will be able to see it. Feel free to write a description about your costume if you like: the genre of dance, how you tied the costume in with the theme of the choreography/music, your creative process, applications used, etcetera.
5. How the winner is picked:
M.Y.O.D.C. staff will be evaluating the entries based on the following criteria:
Sewing & embellishing skills, creativity, execution, fit, and use of supplies.
6. Deadline:
All submissions must be posted before midnight (Pacific Standard Time) on December 21, 2015.
7. Prize:
$100.00 M.Y.O.D.C. virtual gift card + your costume featured on our homepage!!
The winner will be announced from our Facebook page, and website no later than January 4th, 2016. If you won, a M.Y.O.D.C. representative will be contacting you via Facebook to give you your prize.
